What is Animal Chiropractic?

Animal chiropractic involves an adjustment of the spinal column, extremity joints, and skull.

Chiropractic evaluation includes obtaining a case history of information from the owner, any prior veterinary visits, radiographs, and information involving previous diagnoses and any therapies.

Animal chiropractic practices necessitate an examination of the animal patient prior to the adjustment. This examination includes: posture and gait analysis, vertebral and extremity motion palpation, short leg analysis, radiographic examination, and orthopedic and neurological evaluation.
