Dr. Lok works well alongside your Nurse Practitioner, CNP, and doctor or midwife for pregnancy related lower back pain and sciatica.

We also use acupuncture for pregnancy related carpal tunnel syndrome. Mid Ohio Chiropractic and Acupuncture has special, safe tables to provide comfort for mom and baby. Our office takes referrals from your physician and provider and we explain everything in great detail.

Turning the baby with Websters

Websters is a safe, gentle, effective technique that works the muscles and joints on the outside. The baby is not palpated but the mother is worked on from the outside.

Acupuncture is also used to help stimulate birth if the mother is past the gestational period or if their doctor prescribes it if they are not past the gestational period but are close. Fertility acupuncture can also aid in pregnancy using in-vitro, egg stimulation, and egg implantation acupuncture points. 

Acupuncture can also be used to help reduce stress during pregnancy.
